Job Title: Teacher of Geography

The role

As a Teacher of Geography, you’ll play a vital role in shaping pupils’ understanding of the world. You’ll deliver engaging lessons, support pupil progress, and contribute to the wider life of the school.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Set and assess work in line with pupils’ educational needs and school expectations
  • Monitor and report on pupil progress, development, and attainment
  • Maintain strong classroom management and a safe, attractive learning environment
  • Contribute to curriculum development and teaching strategies
  • Support pupils’ academic and personal growth, including guidance on further education and careers
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
  • Participate in school meetings, performance management, and professional development
  • Uphold the school’s ethos and commitment to safeguarding
