What skills and experience we're looking for
Truro and Penwith Academy Trust, together with the Local Governing Board of Cape Cornwall School, are seeking to appoint a dynamic and committed Teacher of Geography (Job Share). Cape Cornwall School is in a beautiful, rural setting in the fields between Penzance and St. Ives, with excellent facilities and easy access to the most wonderful outdoor learning environments. The position will work closely with the Governing Body to develop a strategic view for the school in its community and analyse and plan for the future needs and further development of the school within the local, national and international context. The role will ensure that all pupils receive a good quality education through a programme designed to promote a stimulating style of learning in a safe and healthy school environment.
About You:
You will have a child-centered approach and will provide a creative, inclusive and challenging curriculum which inspires and motivates children and supports high quality teaching and learning both indoors and out. Ideally, you will have recent experience and will share our vision and values to join our school.
Individuals must demonstrate a significant contribution to secondary school improvement and an enthusiasm to embrace the opportunities of leading our school with a strong community identity.
