Teacher of Geography job summary

The Role

We wish to appoint a full-time teacher of Geography to work across KS3, KS4 and possibly KS5.

Geography class are taught in ability groups from Year 7 onwards

All Geography Teachers are expected to be able to teach physical and human geography and to be prepared to participate in fieldwork activities.

Students follow the AQA syllabus at GCSE and A Level

Geography is a flourishing department; the quality of teaching is excellent as is curriculum quality. Outcomes within this department are superb and rank among the highest in the school.

We are seeking a professional who is:

  • An enthusiastic geography teacher with the ability to teach across KS3/4 and possibly KS5

  • Passionate about geography and has excellent subject knowledge.
