Our school
Welcome to Graham School. We are a rapidly improving 11-16 school situated in Scarborough with just over 1000 students on roll. Since joining the Hope Learning Trust family of schools in 2019 there have substantial and sustained improvements. Our opportunity
As a result of maternity we are looking for a teacher to join us from September 2021 and teach KS3 Geography and KS4 Health and Social Care. You will be a subject specialist in either Geography or Health and Social Care, and we will ensure you have the curriculum support around you to teach what are two very different subjects!
Health and Social Care is part of our wider curriculum offer and we are proud to be one of the few schools to offer this subject to our talented students.

Scarborough is easily accessible and whilst many of our current staff are local, many also travel from York, Hull, Driffield and the surrounding areas. Our staff are our greatest resource and we are proud to be a host school to Teach First and NPQ providers. Staff who have relocated or who have entered teaching through all routes have stayed with us whilst our support staff have successfully applied for internal promotions and careers in teaching – and for us that is a sign of a school on the up!
