The geography teachers follow an enquiry based approach to learning and the comprehensive schemes of work are continually reviewed to ensure the highest standards. Students make outstanding progress with 27% of students achieved 7+ at GCSE last year. Geography is a consistently popular option with over 150 students having chosen to study at GCSE next year.

Geography is part of the Humanities Faculty and are accommodated together in well-resourced subject specific classrooms. The faculty has a suite of Chromebooks for students to use and there is a dedicated humanities work area for staff.

Applications should be completed using a teacher application form along with our recruitment monitoring form (available on the college website) and letter of application (no more than two sides of A4).
