Are you an enthusiastic and inspiring Geography Teacher looking for your next opportunity? Bourne End Academy is seeking a passionate professional to join our team on a maternity cover basis, bringing energy, creativity, and a love of learning to our classrooms. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact, delivering high-quality Geography lessons that engage and inspire learners of all abilities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Geography lessons that engage, challenge and support all learners to achieve their full potential.
  • Use a range of assessment strategies to monitor progress, provide feedback, and inform future teaching and learning.
  • Differentiate teaching to meet the diverse needs, abilities, and backgrounds of all students.
  • Contribute to student progress and wellbeing through effective tutoring, pastoral care, and safeguarding practices.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to enhance curriculum delivery and maintain a positive learning environment..

Pay range: M1 - UPS 3 (Fringe) £34,398 - £52,490

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Is a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent)
  • Has a passion for Geography and excellent subject knowledge
  • Can motivate and challenge students to achieve their best
  • Has strong classroom management and communication skills
