Teacher of Geography job summary

The Geography Department
Geography is a highly valued and popular subject at North Brent School. We are seeking a teacher who can make a significant contribution to the continued growth and success of the department and teach Geography across Key Stages 3, 4 and, as the school grows, Key Stage 5.
The department is committed to delivering a rich and academically ambitious curriculum that develops pupils’ understanding of the world around them and equips them with the analytical, environmental and communication skills needed to thrive in modern society.
Teachers work collaboratively to plan and refine lessons to ensure that curriculum resources and teaching materials are of the highest quality. The Humanities team is supportive, ambitious and deeply committed to ensuring that all pupils succeed.
There are excellent opportunities to contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities, educational visits and cross-curricular initiatives.
Professional Development
