Teacher of Geography job summary
Due to continued significant growth we are looking for a teacher of geography to join our brilliant team. We welcome applications from teachers at all stages of their careers, for ECTs, a full induction will be provided based on the Early Career Framework.
Our curriculum is organised to allow a course of study that is broad, rich and flexible in supporting students. In addition we offer our students an extensive enrichment programme which all staff are encouraged to participate in.

Ormiston Endeavour Academy is an 11-16 secondary Academy situated in north-east Ipswich. As an Academy which has seen significant growth over the last two academic years, we take pride in the high levels of support, care and challenge we offer all of our students. About you

- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality geography lessons.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
- Use a variety of resources and technology to enhance learning.
- Assess and monitor student progress.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to aid in their development.
- Organise and participate in extracurricular activities related to geography.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and ensure a cohesive learning experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to motivate and inspire students.
