IndividualWe seek to appoint an ambitious and talented Teacher of Geography with a relentless focus on ensuring high-quality teaching and learning.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to join a thriving Humanities department. There is the possibility of a Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR) for the right candidate, with departmental leadership responsibilities such as leading a key stage, curriculum development, or supporting teaching and learning across the department.
Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are warmly encouraged to apply.
Main responsibilities:
- To ensure that students achieve strong outcomes, regardless of their starting point
- To teach Geography at KS3 and KS4
- To contribute to the development of the Geography curriculum and raise standards at KS3 and/or KS4
- To support wider departmental initiatives, with potential leadership responsibilities for suitably experienced candidates
