Teacher of Girls PE (fixed term until 31 August 2027) job summary

We require an energetic Teacher of PE to join our experienced and friendly department. The PE Department consists of four full time and one part time PE teacher. Our state of the art facilities are used daily for fixtures, events and clubs for our students and we are looking for someone with the enthusiasm and passion to contribute to this thriving department.

The main focus of the Subject Teacher's role is fostering the learning and progress of the pupils in their care. This involves being an effective teacher of pupils as well as of the subject. Quality of preparation, resourcing, planning, subject expertise, teaching skill, pace, challenge, proactive classroom management, effective marking and assessment, high expectations, and positive personal relationships are all central to providing the conditions within which pupils' personal skills, abilities, understanding, learning and progress can be developed.

Subject: Teacher of Girls PE

Position Type:0.4 FTE fixed term until 31st August 2027

Line Manager: Curriculum Lead for PE

Travel Required: Yes, for fixtures
