We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and inspiring individual with a real passion for supporting the development of PE at Outwood Academy Danum. We are looking for someone who is passionate about PE and determined to impact knowledge, skills and understanding to all our young people. Being a committed and imaginative teacher, you will support our ongoing developments within the PE department as we continually strive to improve attainment across our PE subjects including CNAT Sports Studies.

Applications are invited from Early Careers Teachers through to experienced Teachers.

Outwood Academy Danum has a new build which extends the provision available to our students, this includes a new 604 metre squared sports hall. This is a state of the art facility to support the delivering of an inspiring, inclusive PE curriculum for all.

At Danum, we believe that physical education should be an exciting vehicle, not only to ensure that our pupils establish lifelong fitness habits, but that they learn how to work as a team and build resilience. The brand new sports facility will allow us to improve the provision for pupils and build on an exciting enrichment offer. The PE team is a supportive group of staff who play their full part in school life. We are seeking a teacher of girls’ PE to continue to inspire and motivate pupils to lead active lifestyles, along with promoting excellence and participation in sport.
