About the department:

We are looking to appoint a positive, dynamic, and well qualified, female teacher to join a successful and thriving Physical Education Team.

The successful candidate will be committed to the development of creative and engaging teaching and learning which will instill in students a passion for health, sports and fitness and change their lives through learning in Physical Education. The Physical Education department is well resourced and enjoys good facilities. The Department currently comprises 3 FT members and 1 PT member of staff.

The Department is very proud of their success in GCSE PE, where results are very strong, with 2024 progress figures of L4-9 88% and L5-9 being 74%. Students enjoy a range of sporting enrichment activities and play fixtures against a number of local schools. There must be a willingness to contribute actively to the extra-curricular programme and wider school initiatives is essential. Applications from Newly Qualified Teachers are welcome.
