Southam College is a high performing and oversubscribed 11-18 School set in the heart of Warwickshire close to Coventry, Leamington, Banbury and Leicester. In 2014 we were rated as ‘outstanding’ for the second time by Ofsted and in 2020 87% of students achieved Grade 4 and above in English and Maths. We are currently seeking to appoint an inspirational Teacher of Girls PE to join our successful team from November 2021. The successful applicant will be an inspirational forward thinker with a focus on developing exciting and engaging learning experiences and a belief in our ‘can do’ culture where anything is possible. You will be a talented teacher, with excellent subject knowledge and be well informed on current educational developments and initiatives. Passion is at the heart of our practice and it is essential that you have the ability to enthuse and motivate those around you. Be the best you can be!

Southam College is an 11-18 school set in the heart of rural Warwickshire with 1643 students on roll, 298 of who are in the Sixth Form. As a result of our strong reputation, based upon outstanding achievement, wide ranging extracurricular opportunities and an ethos of support and care, the school continues to be oversubscribed.
Our last Ofsted report (March 2014) graded the school as outstanding, building upon the outstanding report of 2011. We have used this accolade to spur us on to reaching even higher standards in everything that we do. This is inclusive of raising student achievement, providing a wider range of memorable experience and developing the quality of learning and teaching. In addition, we have continued to improve our facilities with the building of a new Science block and state of the art Music block.
