St Thomas Aquinas Catholic School is seeking to appoint a teacher of Physical Education for April 2026. This is on temporary contract to cover a period of a parental leave until October 2026. The person appointed will teach predominantly practical lessons for girls.
School examination results at GCSE were in the top 10% of all schools nationally last summer and we want someone who is determined to maintain the high standards of participation and behaviour that permeate the school.
We are looking for someone who:
- is innovative and driven.
- has a real knowledge and passion for PE.
- has high expectations of themselves and their students.
- wants to work with children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
- who is flexible and has a commitment to working collaboratively as part of a team and working strategically with the Acting Head of Faculty and other post-holders.
