What skills and experience we're looking for
- Good honours graduate with qualified teacher status
- A successful teaching record as either a trainee or experienced teacher
- Experience of teaching at Key Stages Three and Four
- A thorough understanding of a teacher’s role in safeguarding young people
- Strong subject knowledge, including knowledge of the National Curriculum and Key Stage Four specifications
- Good understanding of the features of strong classroom practice, including evidence-informed teaching
- Understanding of strong summative and formative assessment practices
