What skills and experience we're looking for
- Qualified Teacher Status.
- Degree in relevant subject.
- Evidence of good classroom practice in History and/or Sociology..
- Evidence of keeping up to date with NC developments in History and/or Sociology.
- Good knowledge and understanding of History and/or Sociology syllabus up to GCSE.
- Inspire, challenge, motivate and empower students to achieve.
- Build and maintain quality relationships through interpersonal skills and effective communication.
- Uphold the Catholic and Mercy ethos of the Academy.
- Able to work as a team member.
- Commitment to ongoing developments and improvements.
