We are looking to appoint an outstanding History teacher, who will enjoy working in a school that values and delivers excellent professional development. The successful candidate will be capable of inspiring students through their passion for the subject, and have a firm belief in the potential of all students. Experience of teaching History to KS5 is desirable. A TLR allowance is available for an exceptional candidate or someone with suitable experience looking to take on additional leadership responsibility.

What we are looking for:

  • Someone with a confident understanding of the curriculum and the ability to inspire students through their passion and knowledge for History
  • Applications are welcome from NQTs, from more experienced colleagues who are looking for a change or someone considering returning to teaching where you will be fully supported back into the classroom
  • Ideally, you will be able to offer a second subject
  • A successful teacher who believes in bringing out the best in every student
