What we are looking for:

We are looking to appoint a strong, and inspirational teacher of History to join our well-led, experienced humanities faculty. The successful candidate will demonstrate a clear interest in developing the teaching and learning of history and evidence informed practice, whilst working alongside a team passionate about securing the best possible outcomes for students. Candidates will be required to teach up to GCSE level and be keen to stretch our highest attaining pupils. The department is very focused on creating scholars and keep up to date with recent academic research to ensure an up to date and innovative curriculum for our pupils. A successful candidate would be expected to engage with recent research and historical debates to ensure the highest level of curriculum delivery.
