What skills and experience we're looking for
Queen Elizabeth’s Academy is an Ofsted and SIAMS rated ‘good’ school, serving local communities within Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. The academy has a long history in Mansfield, offering learning without boundaries and care without limits so that all students can experience life in all its fullness.
The academy is looking for an inspiring and enthusiastic History teacher to join our team. If you are a highly effective classroom teacher with excellent communication skills and are keen to make a difference to the progress and aspirations of all learners then we would welcome your application.
This is a fabulous opportunity for either a confident and ambitious ECT or a more experienced teacher.
For the right candidate, we are also offering a Head of Year responsibility. As a Head of Year, you will work directly with senior leaders and be responsible for raising standards of student attainment, progress and attendance within a designated year group. The responsibility will attract a TLR 2b payment of £5,022 p.a. If you are interested in the responsibility alongside the teaching role, please detail your suitability in the application.
