Your role:
As a Teacher of History at Queen Katharine Academy, you will bring History to life through well‑planned, engaging lessons that help every student make strong progress. You will use your subject expertise to challenge, support and inspire learners across Key Stages, ensuring they develop curiosity, confidence and a deeper understanding of the world around them.
You will take responsibility for assessing learning, tracking progress and maintaining high expectations in behaviour, effort and achievement. As part of a collaborative and ambitious department, you will contribute to shaping a curriculum that is enriching, inclusive and academically rigorous.
Alongside your classroom teaching, you will play an important pastoral role as a tutor, helping students feel supported, valued and ready to succeed. You will build positive relationships with families and colleagues, uphold safeguarding standards and model the values of Respect, Ambition and Responsibility in everything you do.
