Solihull Sixth Form College is a large, culturally diverse specialist in A Levels and Level 3 vocational qualifications, and part of the Summit Learning Trust.
We are seeking applications from enthusiastic, qualified and aspirational History teachers who share our passion in teaching History to a diverse cohort of post-16 students.
The successful candidate will be a talented teacher, highly motivated, capable and innovative. You will have a passion for History, with subject expertise, and be fully committed to supporting the progress of all learners on our courses. You should also have experience of making a positive impact on teaching, learning and assessment and will join an experienced and welcoming team.
You will have a relevant degree or equivalent, as well as a teaching qualification. Experience with A level History is strongly desirable. We encourage applications from applicants at all stages of their educational careers.
You will join a Humanities team that is supportive and experienced, that fosters collaborative learning and has high expectations of our learners. All staff aim to delivery high quality outcomes for learners in a well-resourced and well-equipped environment.
The post is being advertised as part-time, however we are happy to explore
full time hours for the right candidate.
