Teacher of Humanities job summary
We are looking for a dedicated Teacher of Humanities to join our team in Hungerford in September 2026. You’ll possess energy, enthusiasm and desire to inspire a love of the humanities subjects. You will be responsible for delivering lessons in line with relevant curriculum requirements, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning are maintained, whilst collaborating with the wider faculty to sustain and raise class achievement to an outstanding level.
The successful candidate will be required to teach History, Geography and Religious Studies up to KS4.
At John O'Gaunt School, you’ll be working within a welcoming and supportive team, with the ability to make a real difference. You will have the opportunity to work alongside committed teachers, to observe and share practice on a regular basis, developing pedagogy through reflection.
