In this rapidly expanding 'Good' school, we need an inspirational Teacher of Humanities specialist to join our Humanities department for a full-time maternity cover on a fixed term contract from November/December 2022.

This is a job for an ambitious and committed individual as we drive towards becoming an 'Outstanding' school.

The successful applicant will have a passion about learning, have strong inter-personal skills, be resilient, be an excellent teacher and have great subject knowledge including experience of GCSE specifications.  The successful candidate will be expected to help run after-school activities which is likely to focus on supporting students in small group interventions or may include running a club as part of our Extended Schools Provision.

The Humanities department currently comprises of 10 full-time teachers two of whom are part of the Senior Leadership Team. The job would suit an ECT or a more experienced teacher.
