We are a highly supportive school with strong subject leadership to help you develop. We are looking for a highly ambitious, committed and dynamic professional to join our Maths department; someone who is passionate about their subject, communicates well with young people and makes a positive impact on their learning. The Maths department comprises of 12-full time Maths teachers, including a Curriculum Leader who is also a member of the Senior Leadership Team. We work collaboratively to support each other both with the demands of our work and our wellbeing.
The successful applicant will have a passion about learning, have strong inter-personal skills, be resilient, be an excellent teacher and have great subject knowledge including experience of a number of GCSE specifications. They will be able to deliver Maths up to KS4 and there may be opportunities to teach at KS5. An interest in KS5 teaching would also be an advantage as we look to expand Maths into our growing 6th Form.
