RE sits at the very heart of what it is to be human – to live in a diverse society, to pursue answers to Big Life Questions, to understand how what we believe impacts upon what we will and will not tolerate in life. We are looking for a teacher with a passionate love for the purpose and rightful place of RE for young adults, and is excited at the prospect of delivering brave RE in a growing and dynamic Humanities Faculty. The role and what we are looking for RE is a popular subject throughout all year groups, and therefore we are looking for someone who can help bring RE to life through engaging and exciting lessons. You will support the Curriculum Leader of Humanities, to grow and develop the expanding department, with plenty of opportunity to make your mark. We need someone who will set high expectations for teaching and learning, inspire students to love learning, and challenge our young people to think in new ways. You must be willing to model and support the Oasis ethos. This role is essential in the development of the Academy as it grows in size, year on year, to eventually house 1500 students.
