What skills and experience we're looking for
Are you a passionate, creative, and inspiring Teacher of Humanities? Do you want to be part of an academy that is rapidly growing and offers fantastic opportunities to make a real impact? If so, we want to hear from you!
Sir Geoffrey Leigh Academy is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Teacher of Humanities to join our forward-thinking team. With the increasing popularity of subjects that explore the human story and the academy’s rapid growth, this is an exciting time to be part of our journey.
As a Teacher of Humanities, you’ll be responsible for inspiring students to develop a love for understanding the world around them. You will teach across at least one of the core humanities subjects, fostering critical thinking, research skills, and an appreciation for how human societies, cultures, and environments have developed and interact. Whether it's helping students analyse primary historical sources, understand complex global challenges, or explore different belief systems, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our students.
