The role:
Are you a tech-savvy trailblazer ready to ignite young minds in the world of ICT and Computer Science? We're on the hunt for a passionate Teacher of ICT and Computer Science to join us here at Smestow Academy.
We are seeking to appoint and dynamic and motivated Teacher to continue to improve the quality of teaching and learning for the small department. To be successful in this role, you must absolutely believe that every child is entitled to a first-class education, no matter their background or ability. If you're fuelled by a love for the subject and all things tech, this is the role for you. As our Teacher of ICT and Computer Science, you'll have the opportunity to inspire and empower the next generation of digital innovators.
About You:
To be successful for the role your skills will include:
- Being a good classroom practitioner with a strong understanding of how children learn;
- Possessing a passion to make a difference in pupils’ lives and showing a commitment to school improvement;
- Having up to data subject and pedagogical knowledge.
