Teacher of ICT job summary
We are determined to take every possible step to ensure that ICT is a strong and successful part of our curriculum. In recent years we have adjusted our Key Stage 3 curriculum so that students have the opportunity to develop the ICT and Computing knowledge and skills that they will need to help prepare them for a successful adult life. Cambridge Nationals in IT, Creative iMedia and the Cambridge Technicals in IT are popular and successful choices in our Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 curriculum respectively.
If you have a passion for teaching ICT then we want to hear from you. There may be the opportunity for a candidate with suitable experience to teach in the Sixth Form. This post is suitable for experienced candidates who are looking to work with an outstanding team; or for Early Career Teachers. You will be an integral part of the ICT team, and you will be working with a team of professionals who have an excellent track record of success and focus relentlessly on ensuring that students enjoy learning and make outstanding progress. You will benefit from the line management of our outstanding ICT Performance Leader. As part of East Midlands Education Trust there will also be the opportunity for you to learn from the very best and prepare you for the next stage of your career.
