What skills and experience we're looking for
Malvern Wyche C of E Primary School is looking to appoint an engaging and accomplished Key Stage 2 teacher to join our delightful school. We want someone who, like us, puts relationships at the heart of everything they do, has high aspirations for children’s achievements, academically, socially and spiritually, and can help children not just to fly, but to soar.
We are looking for someone who can work effectively within the current Ofsted Framework and teacher standards, whilst bringing creativity and passion to the privilege of teaching. We hope the successful candidate will build on the success and achievements of the previous incumbent by bringing their own ideas and inspirations to the role, developing our popular provision in collaboration with KS2 staff and the school’s supportive leadership.

Malvern Wyche C of E Primary is a small, semi-rural school just outside Great Malvern, serving the village of Wyche and its surroundings. We have an inclusive and warm ethos coupled with high expectations which lead to high academic standards. With a backdrop of the Malvern Hills and views out over the Severn Valley as far as Bredon Hill, it's a wonderful place to work and learn.
We have an intake of 20 children organised as 5 classes: 4 mixed-age classes of 30 pupils and one Year 6 class of 20.
We are committed to an exciting, engaging and hands-on curriculum and to excellence in teaching and learning. Our ethos is rooted in personal growth through authentic experiences, independence and mutual respect. As a Voluntary Controlled C of E Church School, we care deeply for our pupil’s spiritual welfare and have a close relationship with All Saint's Church, which is right next door.
We are an Ofsted and SIAMS Good School. At Oftsed's most recent inspection (Feb 2020) they reported that "Pupils flourish socially, academically and emotionally in this small and caring school." and that they "thrive on the range of unique and exciting opportunities provided".
Come and be a part of the adventure.
