Further details about the role

Required from January 2024 for one year. Teacher of Languages with the ability to teach Spanish and/or French at least to GCSE. The ability to also teach to A level would be an advantage.

We are seeking a talented languages teacher to teach Spanish and/or French. Students have 10% of their key stage 3 curriculum time studying either French or Spanish throughout year 7 -9. Half way through year 9 they select their options and can choose to study either or both languages at GCSE. Both French and Spanish are also offered at A level, and the school also offers Latin to GCSE, with plans in place and the capacity to offer German and Italian. The successful candidates could be an experienced practitioner or a recently qualified teacher, with scope within the department for either.
