- Is committed to high expectations and ensuring every student achieves their full potential.
- Can build strong relationships with students, colleagues and families.
- Demonstrates the drive and ambition to contribute to a rapidly developing and innovative provision.
Whether you are at the start of your teaching career or an experienced practitioner, you will be supported to develop and thrive within a high-performing, collaborative organisation.
What you’ll bring
You will:
- Be a skilled classroom practitioner with a passion for teaching Mandarin Chinese.
- Have experience of teaching at KS3 and KS4, with a track record of strong outcomes (or successful placements if training).
- Demonstrate secure subject knowledge and the ability to plan engaging, well-sequenced lessons that inspire learners.
- Use effective assessment and feedback strategies to drive progress and raise attainment.
- Show a commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
- Have a clear understanding of current educational developments, including supporting disadvantaged pupils.
Above all, you will share our commitment to excellence, inclusion and opportunity for all.
Why join us?
At GORSE, you’ll be part of a trust where:
- High challenge and high support underpin everything we do.
- Staff at every stage benefit from exceptional professional development and career progression.
- Collaboration and innovation are actively encouraged.
- You can make a genuine difference to students’ life chances.
