Are you passionate about Maths and can deliver high quality lessons and excellent outcomes for pupils? Then come and join a high performing and forward thinking Maths team at Rainhill High School, including Rainhill Sixth.

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic andenthusiastic Part time Teacher of Mathematics to join our high-performing team from April 2026. You will teach KS3 and KS4 Maths, in a forward-thinking school that values innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.

This post is offered on a one year fixed term contract to cover a maternity leave and we welcome applications from both experienced & early career teachers.

You will need to have excellent interpersonal skills with a genuine commitment to teaching and the ability to develop our pupils’ love of learning in Mathematics.

Rainhill High School is a co-educational secondary school and sixth form centre located in Rainhill, Merseyside, England.

The school converted to an academy under Rainhill Learning Village in March 2017.

More recently, the school has become part of the Stephenson MAT and was graded as ‘Good’ by Ofsted in February 2023. The Academy is working hard to make a difference to staff workloads by investing time, technology, and support to make Rainhill High School and Rainhill Sixth an attractive place to work.

Stephenson Trust is currently a single school in a multi academy trust.
