What skills and experience we're looking for

Degree or equivalent

Qualified teacher status in Mathematics (or equivalent)

Of successfully teaching Mathematics throughout the age and ability range, or if NQT evidence of a good school experience

Knowledge/skills related to teaching Mathematics.

Knowledge of curriculum developments and related matters with regard to the relevant areas of Mathematics.

Excellent classroom management skills

Knowledge of a wide range of teaching and learning styles.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and inspirational Teacher of Mathematics to join our successful and supportive Maths department.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher who is dedicated to delivering high-quality teaching and learning and inspiring students to achieve their full potential in mathematics.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Inspire students to develop confidence and enthusiasm for mathematics

  • Contribute to the continued development of the Maths curriculum

  • Monitor student progress and support high levels of achievement

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues within a supportive department

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Be a qualified teacher (ECT or equivalent)

  • Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics

  • Demonstratehigh expectationsfor student achievement and behaviour

  • Be committed to inclusive education and supporting all learners

  • Have excellent organisational and communication skills
