About the RoleThis is a permanent, part-time position (0.6 or 0.8 FTE), starting September 2025. As a Teacher of Mathematics, you’ll deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that challenge and support all learners. You’ll contribute to a knowledge-rich curriculum, foster a love of maths, and help maintain a culture of high expectations and academic excellence across Key Stages 3 and 4.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering lessons that build on prior knowledge and challenge all learners
- Assessing and adapting teaching to meet the needs of all students, including those absent or in alternative provision
- Promoting a reflective, ambitious learning environment where students take pride in their progress
We’re seeking someone who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has successful experience teaching Mathematics at KS3 and KS4
- Brings strong subject knowledge and a commitment to evidence-informed practice
- Is ready to lead and innovate within the KS3 curriculum

The college was established in 1963, one of several village colleges in the region that were the inspiration of educational pioneer Henry Morris, who believed that the school should be at the heart of its community and that education should be a lifelong process.
