We are seeking to appoint an ambitious, inspirational and highly effective Teacher of Mathematics - Second in Charge (2IC) to support the leadership and continued development of our successful Mathematics Department.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher looking to develop their leadership skills while contributing to a department committed to delivering exceptional outcomes for students. About the Role
As 2IC of Mathematics, you will work closely with the Curriculum Leader to:
- Support the strategic leadership and management of the Mathematics Department.
- Drive high standards of teaching, learning and achievement across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Lead on curriculum development, assessment and intervention strategies.
- Support the coaching and professional development of colleagues.
- Promote a culture of high expectations, challenge and aspiration for all learners.
- Contribute to enrichment activities that inspire a love of mathematics and encourage progression into STEM pathways.
