What skills and experience we're looking for

Ashmole Academy is seeking an innovative and passionate educator to join our team of 20 Mathematics specialists. Led by an experienced Head of Department, you will become part of a well-established faculty that serves as a cornerstone of our school’s success.

Our results reflect our high expectations. We are a department where academic ambition is realised, and student passion for the subject is nurtured across all Key Stages, resulting in consistently outstanding results, with 90% of students achieving GCSE Grades 9-4 and 50% securing the highest tiers of Grades 9-7.

Mathematics is our most popular A Level subject, boasting a cohort of approximately 130 students who are eager to push the boundaries of their learning.

For many of our students, Mathematics is not just a subject, but the foundation of their future careers. We are looking for a dedicated teacher to join this high-achieving environment. Whether you are an experienced practitioner seeking a sophisticated academic setting or a less experienced teacher eager to grow within an outstanding faculty, we provide a supportive and aspirational atmosphere to advance your career. Experience of teaching Key Stage 5 is desirable but not essential.

At Ashmole Academy, you won’t just teach formulas—you’ll inspire the next generation of industry leaders.
