Cottenham Village College is seeking a Teacher of Mathematics to join our successful and collaborative department, teaching across Years 7-11. We welcome applications from ECTs and offer a highly supportive environment to help you grow and succeed.
About the RoleYou’ll deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that challenge and support all learners. You’ll contribute to a knowledge-rich curriculum, foster a love of maths, and help maintain a culture of high expectations and academic excellence across Key Stages 3 and 4.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering lessons that build on prior knowledge and challenge all learners
- Assessing and adapting teaching to meet the needs of all students, including those absent or in alternative provision
- Promoting a reflective, ambitious learning environment where students take pride in their progress

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has successful experience teaching Mathematics at KS3 and KS4
Brings strong subject knowledge and a commitment to evidence-informed practice
Is ready to lead and innovate within the KS3 curriculum
