Stowmarket High School are looking to appoint three inspirational Teachers of mathematics to ensure excellent curriculum outcomes for our students, joining a dedicated and hardworking team. Our maths team is a progressive, successful team who year on year attain excellent results, supported by evolving strategies and continuous professional development. This is an opportunity for either an experienced, well qualified teacher or an exceptional ECT.

We have two posts available, two posts offered at 1 FTE and 3rd post offered at 0.6 FTE.

The successful candidate will:

  • be highly motivated, enthusiastic and have the ability to inspire pupils.
  • be accomplished in your current role
  • deliver the highest quality educational experience for our children
  • be wholly dedicated to safeguarding pupils.
  • work alongside a supportive team of professionals within the school and as part of Kingfisher Schools Trust

Stowmarket High School is situated in picturesque mid Suffolk with excellent commuter links to Cambridge, Ipswich and Norwich. We are an inclusive 11 – 18 Academy and part of Waveney Valley Academies Trust. 6th Form is currently not being offered. Construction of a new school is now complete on our current site and we have moved into our new state of the art school.
