As member of the team, you would be supported by excellent practitioners both in subject knowledge and teaching & learning. Additionally, all resources from schemes of work to lesson planning are provided for, allowing you, as a teacher, to have autonomy over practice in your classroom. Finally, we are a supportive school that has invested in coaching at all levels; we want to make sure our staff feel invested in and are constantly developed. We are able to consider applications on a full time or a part time basis.

Stowmarket High School is situated in picturesque mid Suffolk with excellent commuter links to Cambridge, Ipswich and Norwich. We are an inclusive 11 – 18 Academy and part of Waveney Valley Academies Trust. 6th Form is currently not being offered. Construction of a new school is now complete on our current site and we have moved into our new state of the art school.
