Teacher of Mathematics - Key Stage 4 Leader job summary

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational Teacher of Mathematics who is dynamic, creative and ambitious to join our dedicated team of teachers and staff.

The successful candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching Mathematics and the ability to deliver engaging and challenging lessons that inspires and enables learners to reach their individual potential.

Job overview

You will assist the Director of Learning to ensure that the curriculum area provides a range of teaching which complements the school’s strategic objectives, leading Key Stage 4 and implementing outstanding teaching practices to instil key knowledge within learners and using assessment and feedback to sustain and raise achievement.

The right candidate will have:

Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent qualification

Relevant specialist qualifications and experience (e.g. BSc in Mathematics or related degree)

Ability to deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons covering a range of modules and concepts

A good understanding of curriculum and assessment requirements for Mathematics

Enthusiasm and commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning to ensure all learners progress and achieve to a high standard in preparation for examinations
