What skills and experience we're looking for

Sidmouth College has a vacancy for a talented and ambitious Teacher of Mathematics working 0.88FTE on a temporary basis to cover Maternity Leave to start in February 2025. The length of the cover is expected to be between 5-12 months.

The successful applicant will possess the ability to enthuse and inspire students and staff by sharing their passion for Mathematics.

You will be working in an experienced and busy department of seven staff: five full time and two part time. The team includes the Head of Maths, Deputy of Maths, Sparx Coordinator and Numeracy Specialist.

Excellent curriculum knowledge is essential, and the successful candidate will be expected to teach Mathematics at KS3, KS4 and, if possible, KS5.

The post would suit an NQT or experienced teacher of Mathematics looking for a different setting with new challenges and opportunities.
