Teacher of Mathematics (Maternity Cover) job summary

We are looking for a highly ambitious, committed and dynamic professional to join our Mathematics department who is passionate about their subject, communicates well with young people and make a positive impact on their learning.

The Mathematics department comprises of nine full-time teachers, including a Curriculum Leader who is also a member of the Senior Leadership Team, and a Middle Leader, 2nd in Charge of Maths.

We are a highly supportive school with strong subject and senior leadership to help you develop.

The job would suite a more experienced teacher and someone who is ambitious for advancement within Maths and has the ability to support students in developing their numeracy skills.

The successful application will have a passion about learning, have strong inter-personal skills, be resilient, be an excellent teacher and have great subject knowledge including experience of a number of GCSE specifications.

They will be able to deliver Mathematics up to KS4 and there may be opportunities to teach at KS5.
