What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking an inspirational and suitably qualified teacher of Mathematics who is capable of teaching up to GCSE and A Level. This role is suitable for Early Careers Teachers. You will be passionate about Mathematics, with high expectations for our students and yourself.

What the school offers its staff

The department consists of 10 specialist Mathematics teachers. The team has an unwavering focus on high quality teaching and a commitment to ensuring that every Rednock student achieves their full potential. At Key Stage 3, we currently follow the White Rose Scheme of Work which we are continually reviewing and adapting to ensure that it meets the needs of Rednock Learners. All students study the AQA GCSE Maths specification, with a selection of learners also completing the AQA Entry Level Certificate. At Key Stage 5, students have the opportunity to study A-Level Mathematics and Further Maths following the Edexcel specification. In addition we offer the AQA Level 3 Mathematical Studies qualification as a one year course.

At Rednock School, we have invested in technology and resources to provide an excellent educational experience for our students. Every member of the teaching staff is issued with a laptop and teaching rooms are equipped with a combination of interactive whiteboards and flexible television screens which complements our widespread use of visualisers across the school.
