Teacher of Mathematics job summary

The Heath School is looking to appoint an outstanding mathematics teacher to join the mathematics team. The Heath is an oversubscribed school, graded good by Ofsted in September 2017, with personal development, behaviour and welfare graded as outstanding. The students respect and appreciate the commitment and hard work of our excellent staff. ‘Pupils display very positive attitudes to learning.’ ’Pupils enjoy productive and harmonious relationships with their peers and members of staff.’ ‘Pupils are committed to doing their best and pupils of all abilities demonstrate resilience in lessons.’ Ofsted 2017 The successful applicant will be an innovative, creative and outstanding practitioner, who will be able to contribute to the planning and delivery of the mathematics curriculum at KS3 and KS4. The Mathematics Faculty is a talented and supportive team who work together to achieve the best outcomes for all students. You will have an understanding of what it takes to achieve excellent results and improve student outcomes as well as a sound knowledge of data relating to pupil progress and achievement.
