Our Opportunity
We are looking for a Maths Teacher to join our team!
In our Maths Department, you will be supported by our Head of Department and our Second in Maths. The team share a focus on giving pupils the best experience and outcomes. You will be joining a friendly, supportive and collaborative team.
Maths is a popular A-Level subject, and every year we have students taking A-levels in maths and Further maths and moving into maths-related degree subjects. Our pupils are welcoming, friendly, and have high ambitions for life beyond Whitby School.
The successful candidate will have:
- Excellent interpersonal and team working skills.
- Experience as an expert classroom practitioner.
- Skills in supporting and coaching other professionals to develop their practice in teaching and learning, or a strong willingness to develop your own teaching and learning skills.
