Teacher of Mathematics job summary

Required for September 2020 We are looking to appoint a dynamic and highly motivated Teacher of Mathematics. A skilled and aspirant teacher, you will be committed to academic excellence and high classroom standards. Our aim is that every student gains enjoyment from their study of Maths and will become fluent in the Maths skills necessary for life. The lessons we teach are dynamic, varied and interesting, with all students being challenged in a supportive environment. Teachers individualize their own lessons within the curriculum strand being taught and are encouraged to share best practice with others within the department. Mathematics is an extremely popular A Level subject with over a hundred students taking the subject in both Year 12 and 13. Many students continue to study Mathematics or related subjects at University. At GCSE, attainment and progress are both very good. This position is suitable for either an NQT or an experienced teacher who is committed to enabling every student to achieve the very best they can, and is dedicated to their own professional development.
