✔ Motivate and inspire learners of all abilities to develop a love for Mathematics.
✔ Deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons that build confidence and resilience.
✔ Bring innovative teaching strategies to the classroom, making Maths accessible and exciting.
✔ Support learners in achieving outstanding progress, whether they aspire to be future engineers, data analysts, or just need to conquer simultaneous equations.
✔ Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and extra-curricular opportunities.
✔ Accept that, at some point, you will have to answer the inevitable question: “Sir/Miss, when are we ever going to use this in real life?”

About the Maths Faculty
Mathematics is at the core of our curriculum, fostering logical thinking, resilience, and analytical skills.
- KS3: Learners build strong numerical foundations, exploring number theory, algebra, geometry, and statistics in engaging and interactive ways.
- GCSE: Following the Edexcel Mathematics specification, learners develop problem-solving skills across algebra, ratio, proportion, and probability, preparing them for further study or real-world application.
- A-Level: Our Edexcel Maths and Further Maths courses challenge learners to apply their skills in calculus, mechanics, and statistical reasoning—perfect preparation for university and beyond.
