Armthorpe Academy, part of Consilium Academies, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Mathematics to join our vibrant, supportive, and ambitious team. We are looking for an enthusiastic classroom practitioner who is committed to raising achievement, inspiring students, and delivering high-quality Maths teaching to Key Stage 3 and 4.

The Role
As a Teacher of Mathematics, you will:
- Deliver high-quality teaching in line with the Academy curriculum, including KS3 and GCSE.
- Set, mark, and assess work to support students’ learning and progress.
- Plan lessons to ensure maximum engagement and progression.
- Create a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
- Support students’ personal, social, and emotional development.
- Contribute to department and school initiatives, including curriculum development and enrichment activities.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
Person Specification
We are looking for candidates who:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status and a degree in Mathematics or equivalent.
- Have experience teaching Maths to a full range of abilities across KS3 and KS4.
- Demonstrate a passion for inspiring students and raising attainment.
- Have strong subject knowledge and up-to-date awareness of the curriculum.
- Work effectively as part of a team and engage positively with the wider school community.
- Are committed to inclusion and supporting every student to achieve their potential.
Desirable skills include experience with interactive classroom technologies, curriculum development, or supporting extracurricular activities.
