What skills and experience we're looking for

Northern Education Trust (NET) is a charitable education Trust with a good track record for school improvement. The Trust sponsors 30 academies; 17 secondary and 13 primaries across the North of England in fourteen Local Authority regions.
Buile Hill's academic performance has seen a remarkable turnaround in just one academic year, with exam outcomes trebling and now above the nationalaverages. While the 2025 performance tables are yet to be officially released, provisional data indicates that Buile Hill was outperformed only by two selective schools in Salford in terms of the percentage of students who pass English and Maths at a Grade 5 or higher — placing it third overall on key attainment measures and the highest-performing non-selective school in the borough.
Perhaps most significantly, Buile Hill is on track to be named Salford’s most improved school — reflecting the hard work of staff and students, and the transformative impact of support from NET, a nationally recognised multi-academy trust with a strong record of driving rapid improvement in schools.
We are therefore looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic teacher of Maths to join our team until the end of this academic year.
The successful candidate must:
- Set high standards which inspire, motivate and challenge students
 - Promote good progress and outcomes by pupils
 - Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge
 - Plan and teach well-structured lessons
 - Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils
 - Make accurate and productive use of assessment
 - Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment

What the school offers its staff
Northern Education Trust offers:
- The opportunity to work and progress across the family of schools, should you wish in the future;
 - The chance to apply for leadership roles in the Deeps structure taking on a whole school leadership project;
 - The support and expertise of Director of Subjects.
 - A full and detailed programme of support and development for all;
 - A further comprehensive programme of professional development, including leadership, provided through the NET Staff College.

Employee benefits
- Free flu vaccinations
 - Free onsite parking

In accordance with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2025, an online search will be completed on all shortlisted applicants prior to interview. Any relevant information will be discussed further with the applicant during the interview process.
