What skills and experience we're looking for
The Castle School has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join our ambitious school from September 2024. We would welcome and encourage those who are ECTs or early in their career, as well as those with more experience to contact us as this could be an excellent opportunity to start or continue your career in teaching within a good school. Please specify on your application form how many hours a week you're able to work.
About you
The successful candidate will be a strong and engaging practitioner, with a passion for teaching Mathematics up to A Level, to all ability ranges. You will be able to build effective relationships with both staff and students and will be a positive role model. You will be well supported by an established team of colleagues within the department. The department currently uses the White Rose Maths scheme at KS3 (Yr 7 & 8) and Edexcel at GCSE.

It is an exciting time to join The Castle School with current building developments taking place, ready for the Sixth Form centre to merge onto the main site. The new Sixth Form centre and facilities will be opening in September 2024 and will include the Business Studies and Economics classrooms.
