We are a Multi Academy Trust comprising of six secondary schools and one primary school with over 750 employees and over 5,500 students, based in Dudley, West Midlands.
Kinver High School is seeking to appoint an inspirational and ambitious Mathematics Teacher to join our ‘warm and welcoming school’ where ‘pupils behave well in lessons’ and ‘are polite and courteous’ (Ofsted Dec 21).
The ideal candidate will share our student-centered values and be an engaging and proactive teacher with a passion for lifelong learning.
Maths and Science are popular and successful subjects in which students achieve well. The ideal candidate will be either a maths or science teacher and qualified to teach one of these subjects to KS4 and will be comfortable in teaching the other subsidiary subject to KS3. The successful candidate will build on current developments within the school, Trust and nationally, to continue to improve outcomes and raise aspirations for all students.
We are a highly successful and increasingly popular oversubscribed 11-18 comprehensive school of 740 students, situated in the picturesque village location of Kinver on the western fringe of the West Midlands. The school has undergone rapid growth in recent years due to its popularity, moving form a 4-form entry in Year 7 to 6-form entry. The school operates its own designated school coach transport service.

What the school offers its staff
We are located in the beautiful, rural village setting of Kinver and serve a wide area also comprising the South Staffordshire villages of Stourton, Swindon, Bobbington and Trysull. Over recent years a substantial number of children have travelled in from the southern and western parts of Stourbridge including Norton, Wollaston, Wordsley and from Cookley in Worcestershire. Kinver is also conveniently located for travel to and from Bridgnorth, Dudley and Kidderminster.
